About Developer Camp

Developer Camp is a three-day hackathon and community event, held regularly in cities all around the world. Each hackathon is a combination of community support, cooperation, and an idea contest that lasts 48 hours from opening doors to closing ceremony. It relies on a certain pattern to create trust and foster cooperation — right up until the presentations begin.

Attending Developer Camp offers a unique opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals, gain valuable skills through workshops, and showcase your projects to industry leaders. Participants can also benefit from mentorship and networking opportunities, making it a pivotal experience for aspiring developers and entrepreneurs.

How to Sponsor Developer Camp

Sponsorship Opportunities

Shift culture.

Our organization has a decades-long history of inclusion and support for open source from any source. We are all about equality and diversity.

Build community.

Yes, we have a badass idea contest, full of winners who have gone on to glory—but we are much more than that. We are a society of support for the entire group of participants, year-round.

Recruit winners.

Our group has the industry’s highest percentage of female participants at 40%, with the goal of even representation across all backgrounds. We give scholarships to women, also students and veterans.

Mint teams.

The founding engineers of Square met at Developer Camp. The Temple Run founders helped us create our community in Amsterdam. Getaround, the national car-sharing service founded, found their CTO at Developer Camp. Your contribution will help all of us find the next big thing.

Find founders.

By participating in our event, you will be at the front line of version one for real products and solutions. The creators go on to make huge things happen—like OAuth 1.0 in 2007, Obama ’08 for iPhone, Starbucks for iPhone, and Temple Run.
